Position Overview:
We are hiring freelance English-speaking Online Data Analysts for a project to improve the quality of digital maps used globally. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy research and have a good understanding of national and local geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, such as verifying and comparing data.
- Determine the relevance and accuracy of information, following the provided guidelines.
Requirements:
- Full Professional Proficiency in English
- Must have lived in South Africa for the last 2 consecutive years.
- Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and websites.
- Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs in South Africa.
- Open to working across diverse Task Types (e.g., Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing guidelines and tasks.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must pass an open-book assessment as part of the recruitment process. The project includes long-term work with occasional quality assurance checks.
