Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact? Capita is looking for a Customer Service Collections Advisor to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting customers who are facing financial challenges, helping them understand their circumstances, and guiding them toward better financial outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Handle inbound and outbound calls related to debt management for Southern Water customers.
Assist customers with paying bills, setting up manageable payment plans, and exploring social tariff options.
Provide empathetic and professional support to customers, many of whom are experiencing severe financial hardship.
Resolve customer queries and concerns efficiently, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Work collaboratively with your team to escalate and resolve complex complaints in line with business policies and legal requirements.
